Coastal Use Tips

These are some best practices to keep in mind to help promote coastal resource protection.

	Walk it Don’t Drive it
	Use designated launching ramp such as Sugar Dock, Fishing Base, Lowerbase, and Smiling Cove
	No burning trash (especially on the beach)
	Implement proper erosion control to prevent run off contamination of construction materials and debris
	No trimming or removal of vegetation on the beach
	No in-water maintenance
	No sand mining
	No earth moving activity allowed without a valid permit
	No in-water refueling
