Coastal Resources Planning

Coastal planning involves understanding environmental and social conditions and trends, assessing existing and anticipated risks and conflicts, and envisioning pathways and scenarios that both accommodate growth and development and protect valuable coastal resources. We gather technical data and guidance to inform decisions, find win-win solutions to specific problems, offer improvements to the status quo, and coordinate a wide range of stakeholders to ensure successful change.
