The Division of Coastal Resources Management (DCRM) will be holding a public hearing for the proposed construction and operation of the New Century Hotel project.
The New Century Hotel, LLC is proposing to renovate and convert an existing three-story office building to a forty-eight (48) room hotel operation. The hotel will include 36 parking spaces – 2 ADA compliance parking stalls, 27 guests parking, and 7 for hotel operational use. The building is connected to the CUC power, water and sewer line. The project site is located in Tanapag Village, south of Tanapag Elementary School, east of the Youth Center, and west of Chalan Pale Arnold Road. The size of the property is approximately 1,800 square meters, more or less.
Written comments can be submitted to the DCRM Office, Suite 305, Gualo Rai Center, Middle Road, Gualo Rai, Saipan, or mailed to the Division of Coastal Resources Management, P.O. Box 501304, or sent by fax at 664-8315. The project files are open for review and comments during regular business hours from 7:30 A.M. – 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday. All written and oral comments received by DCRM will be included as part of the permit application records and will be considered in any decisions concerning the proposed projects.
